Presenter

Pavel Plotnitskii is a PhD student in the KAUST Earth Science program. He graduated from Novosibirsk State
University in Russia with Master’s degree in Geophysics in 2018.
His experience and research interests are related to Seismic Imaging, High Performance Computing (HPC) and
Machine Learning. Pavel is enthusiastic about accelerating seismic geophysical applications, such as wavefield
modeling, RTM, Full Waveform Inversion (FWI), with HPC.
