SUMMARY:AMD XDNA Architecture from Laptops to Datacenters
DESCRIPTION:Minisymposium\n\nMario Ruiz (AMD)\n\nIn this presentation, I w
ill introduce the AMD University Program and the academic solutions availa
ble for the community. Then, I will introduce the AMD Ryzen AI which is th
e first in a new class of Neural Processing Units (NPU) designed for x86 c
omputers. Built on the AMD XDNA™ spatial dataflow computer architecture, t
he NPU consists of a tiled array of AI Engine processors, a set of VLIW ve
ctor processors with adaptable interconnect, designed to offer lower laten
cy and better energy efficiency. Finally, I will present a set of platform
s enabled by the AMD XDNA™ and the software tools available.\n\nDomain: Co
mputational Methods and Applied Mathematics\n\nSession Chair: Nick Brown (
 EPCC)
